The AutoFlushHTTwin is a fully automatic high temperature twin waste water pumping system suitable for pumping hot water containing particles to a higher level when gravity drainage is not possible or economical to install.

The system is suitable for installing either at the initial building stage or retro fitting to existing buildings and can accept waste connections from a commercial sink, washing machine, dishwasher or similar.

The system consists of a GRP odour tight tank with two built in high temperature vortex submersible pumps operated via a control panel. The system can accept waste water up to 90°C making it very versatile in commercial applications.

The AutoFlushHTTwin is easy to install as inlets can be positioned to your requirements (inlet information to be supplied at time of order).

Installation guidelines
It is important to note that these instructions are for guidance only. Please refer to the full Installation and Operating Guidelines when specifying / installing the product.

Siting the product

The AutoFlushHTTwin should be positioned on a firm level surface, resistant to condensation. The unit must be located lower than the outflow of the appliances served so as to provide a gravity fall into the unit.

It is extremely important to site the AutoFlushHTTwin with access in mind in the event of maintenance being required.

Inlet connections
The AutoFlushHTTwin comes as standard complete with 1no. 32/40mm tank connector located on the lid of the unit.

The uPVC tank connector is designed to accept 32/40mm uPVC waste pipe and should be secured into place using solvent cement.

NOTE – Inlets can be positioned on the AutoFlushHTTwin to suit your site requirements (details on inlet positions and inlet diameter must be supplied when ordering).

Discharge connection
The discharge line must be connected to the AutoFlushHTTwin via the tank connector on the side of the unit and will accept 1½" PVC Class E pressure pipe.

All joins in the discharge line must be made with solvent cement, under no circumstances should push fit or compression fittings be used.

The AutoFlushHTTwin is designed for one lift only and the vertical lift should be within 500mm of the unit.

IMPORTANT – It is recommended that there are no bends in the vertical lift, however if this is unavoidable a minimum of slow radius bends may be used.

Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with the Institute Of Electrical Engineers Regulations should connect the unit to the appropriate mains supply taking into account all the electrical information provided.

IMPORTANT – All pump systems must be used with an appropriate motor rated protection device.

The AutoFlushHTTwin requires minimal maintenance. Basic common sense and good housekeeping will ensure the best results. It is recommended that the unit be rinsed through with warm water and a minimum of bleach and washing up liquid added (approx. every 1–2 weeks). This should stop any milk residue and other fatty deposits being allowed to accumulate, go rancid and produce bad odours.

Once or twice yearly it is recommended that the unit be inspected. The lid should be removed and the tank and float cleaned.

Health & safety
As with all site work, the danger of working with water and electricity can pose a severe threat to health if obvious and fundamental precautions are not taken. Therefore if you are in any doubt regarding the installation, please contact us.

All site work must be undertaken by qualified personnel only.

These notes are for guidance only and it is for the installer to ensure the installation is in accordance with all structural and regulatory requirements.

Our policy is one of continuous product improvement, we reserve the right to change specifications and prices without prior notice. All information is given in good faith.
