REQUIREMENT

The customer experienced excessive breakdown within a 12-month period. A review of the pump systems was required to implement a comprehensive maintenance regime to reduce unscheduled visits and costs. We needed to consolidate contractors so that the customer has a single point of contact for all maintenance and emergency requirements.

METHOD

• A comprehensive investigation into the previous 12 months visits was carried out.
• A dedicated account manager was assigned to analyse the customer requirements.
• A review of all other contractors associated to carrying out reactive and maintenance visits.

RESULT

• A site specific planned preventative maintenance service level agreement was designed to reduce emergency call outs.
• Three weekly tankering services were scheduled alongside quarterly maintenance.
• Dedicated account management team was assigned to the site.
• The overall solution provided an annual cost saving to the client.
