Edincare recently underwent a successful external audit on their quality procedures and retained their ISO9001 status with no advisories.

ISO9001 is the world’s most recognised quality management standard, and specified the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). We use this standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. First published in 1987 and revised to its current format in 2015, the ISO9001 standard has been applied by over one million organisations to ensure streamlined and effective process as well as continual improvement.

The standard is based on the ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ (https://asq.org/quality-resources/pdca-cycle) methodology and provides a process oriented approach to documenting and reviewing the structure and procedures required to achieve effective quality management in an organisation.
