Project Type

Supply and commission a single pump foul water packaged pumping station

Products Used

Magna200Pro (Macerator Model)

Onsite Duration

1 day

A foul water pumping station was required to link a basement bathroom to the main sewer which ran at a higher level. The system needed to be very cost efficient and installed quickly to avoid any project delays.

• Following a full site survey by an Edincare project coordinator, a Magna200Pro™ (Macerator Model) was chosen. This pumping station not only fulfilled every technical requirement of the brief but also, being a standard system, was immediately available from stock. With the quotation we specified works to be carried out by the client before our arrival on site, including excavation and installation of the tank.
• On approval, we agreed a works schedule with the client and supplied a site specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).
• Due to our multi-skilled service engineers, all mechanical and electrical works were completed by a single team.
• On completion we issued a Commissioning Certificate which forms part of the Edincare guarantee.

The system met all technical requirements and works, from concept to commissioning, and were completed by Edincare within the project’s tight time and budget constraints.

Construction projects invariably proceed to tight schedules where one aspect of the works must be completed before others can begin.

Hold ups can potentially impact the delivery date of the entire project. To minimise these risks it’s important to choose an agile and responsive supply chain partner.

Edincare can rapidly develop and deliver solutions to any pumped drainage requirement. From design, through manufacturing to commissioning, our tightly coordinated team will not only deliver the perfect system for your needs, but also deliver it when you need it.
