Edincare becomes a distributor of Calpeda GXRM-9 pumps
Calpeda GXRM-9 is a range of 230V stainless steel submersible pumps with a 10 mm clear opening. Its open impeller is suitable for ground, surface, storm and grey water and treated effluent from a sewage treatment plant. It is not suitable for highly abrasive, viscous fluids or untreated sewage.
Our range includes three pumps:
- An automatic pump with a cable float. Optionally, it can be used in conjunction with Edincare’s stainless steel low-level float bracket.
- An automatic pump with a compact magnetic tube style float.
- A manual pump which can be used in conjunction with a control panel and separately-installed level controls such as floats, probes, or a level transducer.
Low level float bracket
The GXRM-9 with cable float can be fitted with Edincare’s stainless steel low-level float bracket (# TBC) to allow for pumping down to as little as 70 mm. It includes a fittings for an optional high level alarm float (#3130127) for connection to high level alarm such as the AquaSafe Alarm (Panel Only) (#22072).
The float bracket is fixed in place between the pump outlet and the pipework. It is also compatible with the Grundfos KP250-A1.
