Technical Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

As the Technical Sales Coordinator, reporting to the Technical Sales Director, you will provide general assistance to the Sales Department.

If you are currently in a junior Technical Sales Coordinator role or are currently working in a sales or office administration role, this is the ideal next step in your career. It would be an advantage if you already work in our sector and have knowledge of our product type or have a mechanical / electrical degree. Living locally is helpful.

As Technical Sales Coordinator your responsibilities and duties will include:
• Converting raw customer enquiries in to technical specifications and quotations which are tailored to suit clients’ requirements
• Logging and chasing sales quotations
• Logging sales orders in line
• Communication of these sales orders to the Production Department
• Raising purchase orders and invoices for these sales orders
• Managing sales from concept to completion to ensure customer satisfaction
• Selecting and creating monthly case studies to publish on the website
• Creating quarterly e-shots to be sent to the customer database

Essential Skills and Competencies:

• Computer literate; thorough working knowledge of MS Office, with use of database systems a strong advantage
• Competent business administration skills
• Educated to a high standard
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• The ability to deal professionally with customers
• The ability to work independently or as a member of a team
• A positive personality and helpful disposition
