Technical Sales Administrator

Job Summary

As a Technical Services Administrator, you will report to the Sales Director and work in an enthusiastic office-based Sales team.  The role will provide you with an opportunity to progress your office administration skills and experience of sales, with the plan to develop your technical knowledge of our product range and thereby enable you to raise sales specifications and quotations for our entire product range.

If you are currently in a junior Sales Administrator role or are currently working as a Trainee Sales Administrator or in another form of office administration, this is the ideal next step in your career. Living locally is ideal.

As Technical Sales Coordinator your responsibilities and duties will include:
• Provision of general administrative assistance to the Sales Department
• Converting raw customer enquiries into technical specifications and quotations which are tailored to suit clients’ requirements
• Logging and chasing sales quotations
• Logging sales orders
• Communication of these sales orders to the Production Department
• Raising purchase orders and invoices for these sales orders

Essential Skills and Competencies:

• Computer literate; thorough working knowledge of MS Office, with use of database systems a strong advantage
• Competent business administration skills
• Educated to a high standard
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• The ability to deal professionally with customers
• Constructive interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently or as a member of a team
• A positive personality and helpful disposition
