The ShowerFlush is a fully automatic waste water pumping system suitable for drawing and pumping waste water to a higher level when gravity drainage is not possible or economical to install. The inlet on this model is located on the left hand side of the unit.

The system is suitable for installing either at the initial building stage or retro fitting to existing buildings and can accept a waste connection from a shower only.

The system consists of a polyethylene waterproof case with a built in low voltage waste water diaphragm pump. This unique system draws the waste water from the shower tray before pumping it to the final discharge point. The system activates via an inline flow switch.

The ShowerFlush is easy to install due to its small bore (22mm) discharge pipework required.

Installation guidelines
It is important to note that these instructions are for guidance only. Please refer to the full Installation and Operating Guidelines when specifying / installing the product.

Siting the product
The ShowerFlush is encased in an IP55 rated case, which means it is dustproof and splash proof. Therefore, if necessary the unit can be located inside the shower area.

Ideally the pump should be located as low to the floor as possible, no higher than 700mm above the tray/floor and as near as practical to the installation, which is usually between 100mm and 1m.

It is extremely important to site the ShowerFlush with access in mind in the event of maintenance being required.

Inlet connection
The ShowerFlush comes as standard with a 15mm (½") compression fitting for connection of a 15mm copper pipe. It is very important that the incoming 15mm pipework from the shower tray has as few bends in it as possible and any used should be slow radius bends.

Discharge connection
The discharge line must be connected to the ShowerFlush via the 22mm (¾") compression fitting which can be on either the left or the right hand side of the unit (this must be specified at time of order). The discharge line must be in 22mm copper pipework to connect to the compression fitting.

The Showerflush is designed for one lift only and the vertical should be within 500mm of the unit.

IMPORTANT – It is recommended that there are no bends in the vertical lift, however if this is unavoidable a minimum of slow radius bends may be used.

Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with the Institute Of Electrical Engineers Regulations should connect the unit to the appropriate mains supply taking into account all the electrical information provided.

IMPORTANT – All pump systems must be used with an appropriate motor rated protection device.

The ShowerFlush does not require any particular maintenance other than general good housekeeping. The unit is capable of accepting all household-cleaning products; however do not dispose of solvents, acids or any other strong chemicals via the ShowerFlush.

Health & safety
As with all site work, the danger of working with water and electricity can pose a severe threat to health if obvious and fundamental precautions are not taken. Therefore if you are in any doubt regarding the installation, please contact us.

All site work must be undertaken by qualified personnel only.

These notes are for guidance only and it is for the installer to ensure the installation is in accordance with all structural and regulatory requirements.
