Installation guidelines
It is important to note that these instructions are for guidance only. Please refer to the full Installation and Operating Guidelines when specifying / installing the product.

Siting the product
The PowerMaster70 (Three Phase) should be positioned on a firm level surface, resistant to condensation. The unit must be located lower than the outflow of the appliances served so as to provide a gravity fall into the unit.

It is extremely important to site the PowerMaster (Three Phase) with access in mind in the event of maintenance being required.

Inlet connections
The PowerMaster70 (Three Phase) comes with a variety of pre-moulded inlets to accept incoming pipework ranging from 40mm to 100mm. To utilise the inlets you must open up the moulded inlet by sawing the end off, leaving enough of the mould to act as a support area for a push-on sleeve. The incoming pipework must then be pushed into the push on sleeve and fixed securely in place using an appropriate jubilee clip.

Discharge connection
The discharge line of the PowerMaster70 (Three Phase) should be 1¼” PVC Class E pressure pipe.
To connect to the discharge line an appropriately sized Gate valve (not supplied, see accessories) must be fixed directly on the discharge spigot located on the top of the pump.

The PowerMaster70 (Three Phase) is designed for one lift only and the vertical lift should be made before any horizontal run.

IMPORTANT – It is recommended that there are no bends in the vertical lift, however should this be unavoidable a minimum of slow radius bends may be used.

Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with the Institute Of Electrical Engineers Regulations should connect the unit to the appropriate mains supply taking into account all the electrical information provided.

IMPORTANT – All pump systems must be used with an appropriate motor rated protection device.

Maintenance
The PowerMaster70 (Three Phase) requires minimal maintenance. It is advised that the unit is visually inspected and its functioning checked monthly. Also the unit should be rinsed through with warm water and a minimum of bleach or other appropriate cleaning product every 2–3 weeks to assist in breaking down any solids that may accumulate within the chamber.

NOTE – It is recommended that a service agreement be taken out with a technically qualified company.

Health & safety
As with all site work, the danger of working with water and electricity can pose a severe threat to health if obvious and fundamental precautions are not taken. Therefore if you are in any doubt regarding the installation, please contact us.

All site work must be undertaken by qualified personnel only.

These notes are for guidance only and it is for the installer to ensure the installation is in accordance with all structural and regulatory requirements.

Our policy is one of continuous product improvement, we reserve the right to change specifications and prices without prior notice. All information is given in good faith.
