Siting the product
The MagnaPro 360 Twin Vortex is designed to be installed below ground level and so the prevailing ground conditions must be considered prior to locating the unit. Where possible, installation of a pumping station in a roadway should be avoided due to the need for periodic maintenance of the pump contained therein. If the location is adjacent to a roadway, the installation method should take into account the imposed loads likely to be transmitted to the tank by traffic etc.

The MagnaPro 360 Twin Vortex should be positioned in a sump with sufficient dimensions to allow for a concrete surround.
Inlet connection
The MagnaPro 360 Twin Vortex comes complete with a 110mm rubber connector located on the side of the tank that will accept 110mm uPVC soil waste pipe. The waste pipe needs to be run with sufficient gradient to allow the waste to gravity drain into the unit and should be pushed firmly into the 110mm rubber connector so as to form a watertight seal around the incoming pipe.

Maintenance
We recommend that the unit be inspected every three months. The inside of the MagnaPro 360 Twin Vortex should be inspected to ensure the floats are clean and free of any build up of materials that may inhibit the operation of the float switch. Also the moving parts of the pump should be checked to ensure that they are moving freely. Hose down the interior of the tank if necessary to remove any build up of solid materials and the bottom of the tank should be checked to make sure there is no debris or materials that could enter the pump and cause irreparable damage.
