The MaxiFlush is a fully automatic macerator suitable for pumping waste from a complete bathroom to a higher level when gravity drainage is not possible or economical to install.

The system is suitable for installing either at the initial building stage or retro fitting to existing buildings and can accept waste connections from a toilet, basin, shower or bidet.

The system offers reliable performance due to its state of the art pump design with serrated stainless steel blades.

The MaxiFlush is both easy to install and maintain, due to its ‘slip over’ collar, discharge hose and easy to access lid.

Installation guidelines
It is important to note that these instructions are for guidance only. Please refer to the full Installation and Operating Guidelines when specifying / installing the product.

Siting the product
The unit is designed for a direct toilet connection and so should be positioned behind the toilet on a firm level surface, resistant to condensation. It is extremely important to site the MaxiFlush with access in mind in the event of maintenance being required.

Inlet connections
The MaxiFlush comes complete with 1no. WC pan connector and 2no. 40mm connectors for additional appliances.

To connect the toilet, push the white WC connector into the unit and then push the WC spigot as far into the connector as possible.

To connect additional appliances (i.e. basin, shower, bidet etc.) there is a low level inlet on either side of the unit. The inlets are designed to accept a 40mm female threaded fitting.

Discharge connection
Connection of the discharge pipe should be to the flexible evacuation pipe using 28mm uPVC waste pipe and secured with a jubilee clip. All joins in the discharge pipe should be made using solvent cement, under no circumstances should push fit or compression fittings be used.

The MaxiFlush is designed for one lift only and this vertical lift should be within 500mm of the unit.

IMPORTANT – It is recommended that there are no bends in the vertical lift, however if this is unavoidable a minimum of slow radius bends may be used.

Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with the Institute Of Electrical Engineers Regulations should connect the unit to the appropriate mains supply taking into account all the electrical information provided.

IMPORTANT – All pump systems must be used with an appropriate motor rated protection device.

It is recommended that the MaxiFlush be flushed through every two weeks using standard domestic bleaches, WC cleansers, etc.

IMPORTANT – The following items must not be disposed of into the MaxiFlush:
• Cotton Wool Buds,
• Baby Wipes,
• Any hard objects, i.e. wood, metals, plastics etc.,
• Any fibrous materials such as cloths, rags etc.,
• Or similar.

Health & safety
As with all site work, the danger of working with water and electricity can pose a severe threat to health if obvious and fundamental precautions are not taken. Therefore if you are in any doubt regarding the installation, please contact us.

All site work must be undertaken by qualified personnel only.

These notes are for guidance only and it is for the installer to ensure the installation is in accordance with all structural and regulatory requirements.
