SERVICE MANAGER  Edincare Head Office (Hemel Hempstead, Herts)

The general nature of the job and its primary objectives include:

  • Overall Daily Management of the Service Department, clients and personnel;
  • Managing the overall Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental aspects of the service department.
  • Coordinating requisite change and overall improvement, in line with processes and procedures to meet KPIs.
  • Managing the effectiveness and efficiencies to promote the right environment for success.
  • Technical support to Service Coordinators, Service Engineers and clients;
  • Manage and participate in the efficient operation of the ‘Out of standard hours customer call out system’.
  • Working with other stakeholders to make Edincare Pumps the number 1 packaged pump solutions supplier.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE  Edincare Head Office (Hemel Hempstead, Herts)

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be taking on responsibility of the goods in/out and storage warehouse across the company.

  • To follow instruction with all tasks relating to the Warehouse Department.
  • Responsible for creation of goods received notes and submittal against the in house stock record systems.
  • To maintain a high level of recording in regards to the submittal of goods received notes.
  • Picking, packing and dispatching of finished products.
  • Raising courier transfer tickets against the relevant courier web addressed systems.
  • To update the Buyer of stock levels and the listing of stock required to be purchased.
  • To control the warehouse department in absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Using company vehicles to make deliveries to customers and/or field service engineers.
  • To assist in the monthly audits within the Production & Warehouse Departments.
  • To assist with any tasks required as requested. This may include working across company departments.
  • Full detailing can be requested against the job specification.

With this job role you will be working closely with the Production Supervisor and Company Buyer, also taking on administration work from the Production and Warehouse area.

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE  Edincare Head Office (Hemel Hempstead, Herts)

The general nature of the job and its primary objectives include:

  • Ensuring the office Service Department organisational effectiveness;
  • Providing leadership for all the functions of the office Service Department;
  • Overall management of service agreements and Telemetric sales process;
  • Supervision of completion and return of all client job tender documentation to client;    
  • Co-ordination and consultation with the Engineering Manager, Technical Managers and Projects Manager;
  • Working with the management team to develop and implement organisational strategies, policies and practices in relation to the performance of the Service Department.

PUMP SERVICE ENGINEER  Edincare Head Office (Hemel Hempstead, Herts)

  • Perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified;
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment;
  • Travel nationwide to client sites

Responsibilities

  • Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified;
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment;
  • Participate in our Emergency Call-Out Rota;
  • Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces;
  • Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone;
  • Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers;
  • Work independently or as a member of a team;

TRAINEE PUMP SERVICE ENGINEER  Edincare Head Office (Hemel Hempstead, Herts)

As a Trainee Pump Service Engineer you will have an opportunity to learn all the relevant skills and develop into a Pump Service Engineer. You will report directly to the Engineer Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of Company pump systems on client sites;
  • Servicing / Maintenance / repair of the pump systems and associated equipment;
  • Performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
  • Entering into confined spaces and dealing with grey water and effluent; equipment, etc.*;
  • Working within a team;
  • Participation on the out of hours weekend Call-Out Rotas and 24/7 Emergency Response Service, as and when required*.
  • Maintain and record stock levels in company van, recording the details of all parts used on job completions report*;
  • Travelling nationwide to perform these duties.
